Airports Administration Team Leader

Job Description: Managing a small administration team in the Vetting and Referencing of site based construction operatives to enable them to work on high security projects.

Duties will include:

Targeting the team to achieve weekly targets and deadlines

Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation

High levels of both outgoing and incoming paperwork and e mails

Booking online training courses

Booking collection appointments via online systems

Processing DBS checks

Checking off invoices

Undertaking security interviews

Submitting weekly reports to the Operations Manager

Continued Internal training

Skills required:

Good telephone manner as you will be liaising with both candidates and clients.
Able to work within strict guidelines and procedures.
Able to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
Must be a good team player but also able to work on your own initiative.
You must be organised and able to prioritise your own workload and that of your team.
You must have experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
You must have an eye for detail.
You must have excellent English verbal and written skills.

You must have good face to face skills as you will be meeting with potential operatives when conducting security interviews.

You must have a full clean driving licence and have no criminal convictions.

The successful candidate will be proactive and fully responsible for completing the process from start to finish and then maintaining and keeping up to date a database of all operatives that have been security cleared. You will be able to motivate and drive your team.

This is an opportunity for an individual to join a small close knit team in an often fast paced and pressurised but relaxed environment. We are looking for an experienced Airside pass administrator who either has worked as a team leader in the past or would like to progress in their career to a team leader role.

Full training will be given on our in house system, application processes and managing a team if required

Salary is dependant on experience

25 Days holiday + bank holidays

Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm
