B2B Telesales Executive

  • Reports to: Group Sales Director
  • Location: Fareham, Hampshire
  • Salary: £18,000 per annum + Commission
  • Hours per week: 40 Hours per week
  • Office opening hours: 8:30am until 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch break (unpaid)
  • Holiday: 25 days (Plus Bank Holidays)

Purpose of the Role:

Due to expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic telesales executive to contribute in generating sales revenue for our company. You will be responsible for introducing our services to prospective clients and booking meetings for the external sales team.

An effective telesales executive must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills and must be comfortable presenting services over the phone.

Internal Contacts: Directors, Senior Management, Managers, Employees of the Business

External Contacts: Prospective and Existing Clients

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Contact potential or existing clients to inform them about our services using pre-prepared scripts
  • Ask relevant / leading questions to gain an understanding of client requirements with a view of promoting the corresponding service/s
  • Schedule meetings for the field sales team to attend ensuring they are viable and geographically economic
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Attend internal service or company training sessions/meetings in order to maintain on-going awareness of new products, market changes and the business

Personal Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience as telesales executive or other sales/customer service role an advantage
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone an advantage
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about Group products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection or objections

Additional Comments:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry or construction recruitment industry an advantage but not essential
  • Full training will be provided
